Hi there! Thanks for visiting! I'm just your average single parent trying to juggle all of the balls because there is no one to hand them off to. I love DIY projects but find balancing time, money, and energy with two little ones quite the challenge.

I created Single Parent DIY because I believe single parents are often underestimated. We make things look easy because we must — not because they are. Many of us have no one to help, no backup, no real support system yet we somehow make it work. We're the real-life superheroes among us, and it's time we embrace that.

​

Here, I aim to empower single parents with practical DIY tips for both indoor and outdoor projects that take into consideration the time, financial, and physical constraints that we tend to deal with. I’ll share ways to either involve your kids in these projects or keep them happily occupied while you work.

My goal? If this blog helps even one single parent make a meaningful change at home, then I’ve succeeded. I write under a pen name for safety but with hopes that my posts resonate widely, helping offset the financial challenges of single parenting through blog monetization.
